Hello Ida, Thank you for that. The John I am looking for is the son of Peter McIntyre and Flora Campbell from Ardalanish. He was born in 1814 at Ardalanish. He had either died or left the Ross by 1841. He was the eldest brother of Christina McIntyre who was my Great Grand Mother who married Donald McIntosh McGilvray. I will do some more research of this couples marriage and Flora's birth in England and see what I come up with.
