Hello All, As I mentioned last week the UK magazine 'The People's Friend' for Thursday March 31 2007, on sale today in Australia has a water colour sketch of Kentra on the cover. There is an article by Willie Shand titled 'A Mull Meander' but which is almost all about The Ross. There are photos looking out towards Iona taken from the highland behind Fionnphort, The Beaton Cairn, (I have never been able to find it) The Mull and Iona Pipe Band, Sheep at the Bunessan Show, a gentleman with a chain saw who is making a hen out of a piece of wood and several people looking back to Mull from the Ferry. The article covers the trip from the ferry through to the various locations on the Ross, including Carsaig, Kintra, Bunessan and touched on the various important loctions that Ross of Mull pink Granite has been used including the Albert memorial in London. Kind regards Jan Peasnell/Sydney/Oz (A surprisingly CHILLY Sydney)
