    3. Hi John, I recently purchased a rather good book "The Scottish Pioneers of Upper Canada 1784 - 1855: Glengarry and Beyond" by Lucille H. Campey, Natural Heritage Books, 2005. At the back of the book, it has what it claims to be "...all known passenger lists, and gives details of the 550 ships that made over 900 crossings and carried almost 100,000 emigrant Scots." Sadly, all known passenger lists seems to be a grand total of 15. I suppose the others were all lost. It does have a list of all the ships that sailed from Scotland to Quebec 1785 - 1855, in chronological order, and gives year, month, vessel, master, passenger numbers, departure port. I could give you the details of the ships that left between 1819 - 1822, if you like? I checked the few passenger lists from that era, but no CAMERONs or MCGILIVRAYs at all. I could check these lists for other folks too, if anyone wants. Remember, it's Scotland to Quebec ports only, 1785 - 1855. Mary Fletcher Harris Seeking MCKINNON, MCEACHERN, MCARTHUR Kilninian, FLETCHER, MCPHAIL Salen, Mull Also MCLEOD, MCPHEE, MCDONALD Glenelg, Skye to Glengarry, Ontario, Canada & NICHOLSON, GILLIS, MCQUEEN Peinchorran, Skye to PEI, Canada I have never been able to find them on any passengers list. > > John Cameron

    3. If you could be so kind as to check the list for a John McCallum, who also came to Quebec during this period, I would be very much appreciative. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron & Mary Harris" <r_harris@sympatico.ca> To: <sct-isleofmull@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2007 11:01 AM Subject: Re: [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] Passenger form Mull > Hi John, > > I recently purchased a rather good book "The Scottish Pioneers of Upper > Canada 1784 - 1855: Glengarry and Beyond" by Lucille H. 3. Hi Betty, What time period? Remember this book lists 900 crossings on 550 ships over some 75 years. When did your John MCCALLUM immigrate? Mary > If you could be so kind as to check the list for a John McCallum,
