    3. For the List I've just had my attention drawn to Thomson's Atlas of Scotland, (1832) which has on it many names of settlements now lost in the mists of time. It really is a brilliant map ... why I'd forgotten it, I just don't know It can be found at The National Library of Scotland _ www.nls.uk/maps/early/506.html _This should take you straight to the page you want. Once you've found Mull, home in on the area you're interested in .... and you'll find "Cregmouichuil" on the Glen More road, north-east of Torbrake. If this really is the one mentioned in the 1841 census, nowadays it is known just as Craig - the rest of the name being lost. I'm still going to go back to the river bend beyond Derrynacullen though....you never know.... Christine
