To Les Horn I am most interested in your pinpointing the position of the settlement of Cugymony choull (or Cregymonyshoill) Looking at the map ref. you provided, it's an area I walk on a fairly regular basis, and I know the bend in the river quite well ................but I've never seen any footings or other signs of previous habitation. Do you have any of your own (or others') photos of the area? and could you please help with the documentary evidence of this site. I can't wait to get the walking boots on and get down there again!! Looking at the name Tricia provided, I did wonder if the former settlement could be what is now Craig........but that is a good bit further on from Derrynaculen. True, it's on the same Old Road.
