    3. Ian, I was wondering how many people are familiar with the free Scotland BMD exchange. It is also another place that you can list Scottish BMD certificates that you have and also look to see if anyone has one that you might want. www.sctbmd.com/index.php Ian Phillips <ian.phillips@ukonline.co.uk> wrote: Hi Angela, If I have not already said it, welcome to the list. I'm afraid that the list is very quiet list at the moment. Not really sure why this is but could be something to do with the fact that the northern hemisphere is on holiday. >>Do you welcome contributions or do you have enough to do? I welcome, as do all list members, the text of any documents that listers have. It's not possible to post images to the list. However, a good friend of mine (Christine Leach of Pennyghael in the Past - pennyghaelpast@btinternet.com) might well be interested in the certificates that you have. Christine has extensive archives of the Tiroran area and might well be able to help you with your McFadyen's. I would suggest that you drop her an email with your family details together with a list of the certificates you have. To answer the second part of your question, the list can never have enough. I any case its better to hear something twice than not at all. I would also suggest that you post details of your family to the list. You never know, someone out there might well be able to help you. If you do make progress, please let the list know as we all like to hear of listers making breakthroughs. Don't be afraid to make a posting. It's a friendly list. >> I also have all the McFadyen entries for Mull taken from the Glasgow Poor Records Index ( hope to get the full entries looked up over next 12 months) Now this is something that will be of interest to the list as these records are not he 'standard' records available. Pity it will be restricted to McFadyen's but understand why. >>Great site thanks for making so much data available it is appreciated. Thanks must also go to all the many contributors from around the world. All the best and look forward to reading your postings.
