The National Library of Scotland (NLS) is planning to develop a new research centre at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow. It will include facilities for the general public to conduct research as well as meeting rooms and a café, and will offer access to digital content currently only available through the NLS Reading Rooms in Edinburgh. The digital content includes e-books, newspapers, manuscripts, maps and magazines. The centre will also offer access to the Scottish Screen Archive and Sound Scotland. The NLS is seeking feedback by way of a questionnaire from historical societies and other interested groups or individuals to help define what facilities and services will be provided at the new centre.
