Looking for information on a Mary Alicia McLean, daughter of Capt. Archibald McLean and Prudence French. She was born 24 August 1799 in St. Mary’s Parish, and I believe she died before the 1871 census for St. Mary’s parish as she is not listed with her husband and children in that census record. She married, about 1821/1822, William Roans (many different spellings for the surname, i. e. Roins, Rowans, Rowens). He was born about 1792 New Brunswick, Canada, and died sometime after 1876 possibly in St. Mary’s parish as well. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have a connection to this family.
