However there are 9 marriages for a James McDougall in South Australia (1842-1916) so perhaps he married someone else first....or he married before 1842. My GT Uncle got off the ship in SAust, but immediately travelled overland to Victoria ...another relative even walked to Bendigo, made his money with gold and came back to settle and build a church at cockatoo Valley SA and grow a family in South Australia.
