I only have a name on the death certificate of his wife who was Elspeth INNES born about 1812, Banffshire, died Salen 1882, daughter of John INNES and Isabella who kept the Inn at Salen. The problem of course is that he could have been older than Elspeth and his date of birth would be any one's guess. Seeing both Livingston and Innes posted I'd like to ask if anyone is connected to these two. John McColl born 1840 and Marion Innes b.1841 who married 1863 in Paisley Scotland. John McColls parents were John McColl and Mary Campbell..my gr.gr.grandparents. Marion Innes parents were Alexander Livingston and Marion Innes. Frank There appears to be numerous couples named John McColl/Mary Campbell. Your John born 1840 East Kilbride ? Were his parents married 1839 Kilchrenan and Dalavich ? I think you meant John married Catherine Livingston (mother Marion Innes) ? Is there a Mull connection ?
