The Isle of Mull has never been in Inverness(shire). Ardnamurchan which is to the north of Mull on the other side of the Sound was a one point in Invernessshire. I think you mean 'moved to Mull'. I personally would say no to this. I still think it is a recording error. >> Where McQuaries in that part of Scotland around 1751 (when I estimate he was born by death age) There were McQuaries on Mull around 1751.
