Donald McDonald ( @1799- 1863) and wife, Janet Fletcher (@1794-1868) had daughter Margaret McDonald (b.1838 Glasgow). The parents' birthdates are approx and calculated from ages at death. Margaret married John MacCormick in 1859 and their marriage record states that they were 2nd cousins. I'm trying to find that relationship. I have John's parents (John MacCormick and Margaret Black) and grandparents (Dugald MacCormick/Ann McLean and John Black/Catherine McMillan) but I'm having trouble finding Margaret's grandparents, Donald McDonald's death certificate doesn't show any parents at all and Janet's only shows her father (Archibald Fletcher). Anyone come across Donald McDonald and Janet Fletcher and have further information on them? Thanks!
