Hi Last year while researching my Carmichael family, Ida & Jill Dakin gave helpful information on Elizabeth Carmichael (c. 27/10/1803) (d/o Duncan Carmichael & Ann Stewart). Ida found info on the IGI submited by a Dugald Cameron. Jill said she believed Elizabeth married a Major Cameron. During a recent phone call with an elderly cousin on Mull she recalled that Elizabeth Carmichael had "married a major and settled near New York". Ida, I've searched the IGI but cannot find the entry you mentioned. Can you give me some tips on how to find the entry submitted by Dugald Cameron? Thank you. Best wishes Moira
