Hi all, I asked about this family some time ago without any result but I thought I might mention them again - you never know! I am trying to find any information or ideas on what may have happened to them. Children of Neil and Marrion McDonald all born / baptised at Ardchiavaig. Ann bapt 20/01/1821 John bapt 25/10/1822 Donald bapt 21/03/1825 ( died before 1831) Hugh bapt 13/05/1827 Marion bapt 26/09/1829 Donald bapt 15/03/1831 Duncan born 16 Jun 1833 Bell born 2 May 1835 Peggy bapt 01/12/1837 Neil and his four sons appear on the 1841 census but his wife and four daughters, the youngest of whom was only 4 years old, have all disappeared - and by the 1851 census, his sons, except for John, have all vanished as well. I have a lot of details for John. Despite checking all the usual sources, I can find no marriage or death records for them. According to family history, none of my McDonald family emmigrated until more recent years. If anyone knows anything of this family, I'd be glad to hear.
