Hi again, My Fletchers (Mull and Glen Orchy) are all pretty big men. My father is 6 ft. 2. in., so is my only brother, and now my 17 year old son has just hit that height as well. Funny thing genes are. I'm thinking nutrition is part of it, but a lot of it is predetermined before birth. I say that because we have 4 sons and their heights vary quite a bit and I think the nutrition would be pretty much equal. They are 5' 11", 5' 10", 6' 2" and the 14 year old is only 5' 4" but growing. I would add that my husband is 5' 6" tall and I'm a bit shorter. The tallest Fletcher I have known was my grandfather's cousin, Alisdair Fletcher, who was born on Mull and farmed mid 20th century with his brother, Colin Fletcher, at Antium. He was at least 6' 4" tall. He was also long lived. He died in his early 90s. What will interest the previous message posters about this ... his mother was a Cameron! Mary Fletcher Harris Canada
