    1. [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] Request/Reminder on dates
    2. Linda M. Towne
    3. Hello everyone, Just a request about dates - if everyone could try to spell out the month ie today is 4 Aug 2011 when sharing dates on the list instead of using all numerals, it cuts down on confusion. Given that we have members from all over the world and it's not always apparent where someone is posting from (and not everyone is native to their current location anyway) and date format varies from place to place - ie: UK today's date would be 4/8/2011 but in the US it's 8/4/2011 - it's easy for confusion to arise when the format used by the person posting isn't necessarily the format used by the person reading. Thanks all! Linda - who is in the US but from the UK and easily confused on such matters :) -- Linda MacCormick Towne

    3. Very good point The date as Linda shows (4 Aug 2011) is ideal. This format can be copied and pasted into various progs. Whilst appreciated, a date given as 4th August 2011 has to be cropped/ammended for me to work with Michael ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda M.
