    3. Hi, I have used this site for many years, but could someone please tell me, and any new users what 'the current state of affairs' is. When I started using this site Ian tended to be on it a lot and also Ida /Merle, who I thought were the list administrators. I also just thought Ian was somehow tied up with this site too, and that the 'Mullgenealogy' site which he was 'webmaster' of was somehow all tied in together. There was also all the talk then regarding the 'Mull Get-together', preparations and aftermath. It seemed like a 'family unit' so to speak, and although I didn't attend I was looking forward to the next one and hoping to go. I also just assumed that all BMD's and census info that went throught this site from all listers ended up also on Ian's 'Mullgenealogy' site. Perhaps it didn't, was there some reason for this? Was there some protocol we didn't go through? Maybe we need to be reminded of it and new listers too. I know I have been guilty of sending off copies of BMD's /census returns to members and had no replies back, then to realise that you can't do that through 'rootsweb', so now I ask folk if they would like me to send a copy to them personally. Like Jan I'm sure there are many of us who have amassed enough entries over many years, from our own purchases of BMD's and census returns of folk who were on the same pages as our rellies, that we could probably all start up our own websites if we wanted to! I don't like to see people falling out, if it aint broke........ ( or is that the problem???)
