There were 6 births for Mary Simpson in Glasgow area 1890-91, I didn't check them all, but did mention 1, as the father was a Francis, so thought there was maybe some connection there to Francis Irvine. Someone mentioned to John that perhaps he should try Tyree, so during my searches I had come across a marriage of a Euphemia McKinnon age 27, in Glasgow to an Angus Lamont age 28, Master Mariner, both from Tyree. Married; 22 Nov 1870. Crow Hotel George Square. Est Church.
