    3. Most of this information is on the Mull Genealogy Site - Thank you, Ian. However. I am still searching for earlier information of MCMILLANs & MCLEANs pertaining to our family. Donald MCMILLAN (b Argyll c 1811 d 27 October 1880 in Blenheim, New Zealand, s/o John MCMILLAN (Private Soldier) & Mary (nee SEAFORTH) married Mary MCLEAN (b Argylshire c 1812 d Blenheim, NZ 21 July 1897 d/o Charles MCLEAN Schoolmaster) & Christina (nee MCLEAN) on 24 March 1835 in Tobermory. L.D.S film No 102389 Donald McMillan, Parish of Kilfinichan, and Mary McLean from this Parish were married 24 March 1835 County of Argyll 19 Tobermory Section 549 Kilfinichan Parish, Isle of Mull, Scotland. After their marriage they lived in Kintra (Inver Cottage?). The following children were born in Kintra: Peter 3 March 1836 Margaret (Peggy) 25 May 1838 Hugh 9 April 1840 Charles 8 May 1844 Catherine 17 May 1846 Anne 17 August 1848 The family are on both the 1841 & 1851 census records. In July 1852 they left London on the Barque "Sea Park" for Adelaide S Australia. Catherine was not on the Passenger List - did she die between the date of the 1851 census record & the date the family left Scotland? I cannot find a record of her death. Another son John was born in Adelaide in December 1855. Peter married in Adelaide & remained in Australia, but the rest ot the family emigrated to New Zealand on the SS Tararua in April 1867. I would love to find birth dates for Donald MCMILLAN & Mary MCLEAN & see if they have any siblings. Also if there is any information on their parents (BDM). I have found a marriage for a Charles MCLEAN & a Christie MCLEAN in the Tiree BDM lists - could this be them??? Any information gratefully accepted. Marilyn McMillan - Wellington, New Zealand
