I have to agree with Janice Peasnell. Sharing through rootweb as here will enable Ian to add them to the Mull site. Lets keep it simple.Jean -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Janice Peasnell Sent: Wednesday, 27 July 2011 11:03 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] Sharing details of birth/marriage/deathcertificates Hello All, I am a bit confused and a little concerned about this suggestion that we all send our BDM Certificates to Michael so he can do a better job of looking at them then the person who has bought them. Over the years - several in fact - anyone who was confused about the entries on certificates have ask for assistance from this site and we have all shared in the results of the answers that come in. I have shared all my research with Ian for his site, I did this assuming that people who used the information were researching the families involved and I could add to my interest in the McGilvrays on the Ross of Mull. I have never had a problem with certificates and I have varied writing etc. some of the very early ones may take time but surely that is half the fun of this research. If there are so many mistakes on Ian's site and I wasn't aware until quite recently that this was suppose to be the case - but that is not necessarily the fault of the site. Everyone who has a problem with suspecting things may not be right can always order there own copy from Scotlandspeople at their own expense. Anyone who wants to check any information I have put on can email me and I can either send them a copy or simply check their enquiry. I would assume that people asking would be personally involved with the family they are asking about.. Jan Peasnell/Melbourne/Oz On Wed, Jul 27, 2011 at 10:22 AM, Linda M.
