Hi Ida, Thank you for trying to help me, have felt a bit at sea recently with paying for credits and not finding anything. Janet married a Mr Campbell, but I have no idea of his first name. I had some paid research done for me over the past 2 years, and as I was looking for information about my grandparents, the link to Mary McCallum was brought up with only minimal research done. I have been fascinated and intrigued that I had a link to Mull, as all my single life here in New Zealand I was teased about being a Smith, and wished my parents had another surname. I successfully managed this when I married a Manson one of the first families to settle in New Zealand from Scotland. But that is a whole different story to research in the future. I don't even know when Mary's father Hugh died, as I can't find any information on him. As you say, I might find something on Mull genealogy. I will try to find time tomorrow to do this.
