From memory my John McDonald of Mariposa married earlier that 1866. My McDonald family settled in Vaughan in 1820 but the couple with youngest kids including John and Christie m oved to the township of Mariposa in retirement. The father's will, Archie's, i s probated in Peterborough but missing in the archives. The couple were buried back in Vaughan. Two children with spouses remained in Mariposa through the d ecades.
