Dear Darryl, I will check my McDonald notes, Darryl. From memory my John McDonald of Mariposa married earlier that 1866. My McDonald family settled in Vaughan in 1820 but the couple with youngest kids including John and Christie moved to the township of Mariposa in retirement. The father's will, Archie's, is probated in Peterborough but missing in the archives. The couple were buried back in Vaughan. Two children with spouses remained in Mariposa through the decades.
