Good afternoon I am hope I might be on the right track I am researching a Campbell family from Lochend in Argyll, Scotland who came to Australia in 1821 on board the vessel "Lusitania". Also on board was one Archibald Campbell and Helen Sudart [Stoddart]. Archibald evenyually purchased land in Australia and named his property "Lorn Bank" I believe these two Campbell families might be related to Governor Lachlan Macquarie whom I am aware was from the Isle of Mull where on his death he was buried. I also have an extensive archive on the Campbell's yet the only thing I can locate on Archibald Campbells links prior to Australia is that his death registraion gives his father as Gavin Campbell.
