re Peter McLellan and Janet Ferguson hello list and Carol I was in touch with Carol a while ago regarding the Ferguson family and I have a lot of information about Peter McLellan and Janet Ferguson. Janet is the sister of Mary Ferguson, my gr gr grandmother. I will contact you again Carol. Peter Mclellan remained in Islay and died 7 June 1880 at Gruilen age 83 according to death record. He was the son of Robert McLellan and Margaret McNeill. I have his census records. His son John McLellan was at Torrandarrach in 1881 and Janet his widow was still at Torrandarrach in 1891. Janet died at Gruilen 18 November 1893.
