John, Sorry, but I don't think so. James and Margaret immigrated to North Carolina, USA, in 1819. We have not located ship records for them, but we thnk that all of thier children came with them because the 1820 census indicates as much. There is a Presbyterian minister by the same name in Selma Alabama in 1850, but we have not been able to connect him yet. Another possiblity is that he died at a young age. We have visited the gravesites of James and Margaret and there appears to be several unmarked graves nearby. Malcom's sister, Flora, is our McNabb connection. By the way, Malcom was born 30 June 1806 and christened 4 July 1806.
