Hi Cheri: When I transposed the 1841 census for Portnhaven I took the 11 year old daughter of Duncan Brown and Mary (Turner) to be Margaret. If I were to do it over I think I would call her Mary. If you wish I can scan the page and send you a .JPG file of it. The writing of some census takers left a lot to be desired and Marg and Mary really look alike. The birth records back up the choice of Mary as they had a Mary baptized in 1828. I did not do the transcription for the births so cannot go back and look at originals.
