    3. Thanks John, It makes more sense now. John Murdoch (a temperance many himself) made such a fuss over not being able to attend his friend, Colin Hay's, funeral. I thought perhaps he had gone to Australia, but returned to Scotland. I didn't realize he had taken over Ardbeg.
