Mary Love was my GG Grandmother. I don't think she was born on Islay. Her date of birth is 1805. She married my Great Great Grandfather Donald McLarty on Islay in the Bowmore area in 1833. I have searched for any Loves and can't find a Mary Love. Any help out there? I have successfully gone back to my 4x G Grandfather John McLarty b.1753, but can't find anything on Mary Love. After her marriage to Donald they both moved to Canada probably about 1835 or so. First to St. Andrew's East in Quebec and then to the Ottawa Valley. Nancy MacLarty.
