Nancy, I went into the Love Message Board and saw your posting there as well. So....I went beyond your message to find a couple of postings that indicate the possible location of the Isle of Arran and the Isle of Bute as a good place to start looking for information on Mary's family. As I have already indicated I have run out of B.M.D. registrations on Islay and wonder where to begin looking for the McCallum family your McLarty family is related to. By the way it would be good to have a list of the names your McLarty/Love family named their children. In that way you will be able to pick out possible family members. I am hoping that member's of the List, who have been to Islay can recommend points of interest Nancy should check out when she makes her trip to Islay in September.
