Hi folks, I was wondering if any of you who are tracing Jamiesons know anything about Sarah/Marion Jamieson who married John Sinclair 25 April, 1788? I 'think' she was the daughter of William J. and Betty Sweet, baptised 4 June, 1788, but not positive. Again, I think she might have died on Islay before the rest of the Sinclair family of 6 sons and 2 daughters emigrated to Wellington Co., Ontario some time in the 1840s. John's gravestone is found in Bethel cemetery, no mention of his wife. I wonder if any of the Jamiesons also emigrated with this family?
