Hello All, I have been absent from the list due to our relocating from Florida to Virginia. It's good to have that done! Now my genealogy research can continue! I want to say another thank you to those who compiled the surnames search database from last winter's roll call (Johan and someone else, sorry, cannot remember/find)! As a result of that list, a DICK family researcher contacted me and it does turn out that we are related. Our great grandmothers were sisters on Islay. I am simply delighted! It has been wonderful to connect and share information - this is the first living DICK relative with whom I have had the good fortune to correspond. Doors are opening and information is flowing!
