    3. Hi Listers Could I make a plea. Please DON'T send postings without a subject. As I receive postings in Digest form, from a number of Lists, it means I have to open those without a subject to see what they refer to. Where I receive e-mails in List form my Filter consigns anything without a subject to the Deleted Items bin and unless I scan this, rather defeating the object of my Filter, I'm going to miss items. Also please don't use the Digest reference as the Subject. Many thanks Les

    3. I'd like to second Les's plea. In addition to the problems Les mentioned, the no header/digest header messages really make a mess of the archives. I'd also like to put in a plug to minimize the amount of quoted material in postings (if you're including more than a line or two, you're quoting excessively), especially on the fourth or fifth reply. It simply isn't necessary, and is a mark of poor netiquette. Also (again), it makes the archives less useful to those who follow. Thanks, jim
