    3. In Mary O'Brien's book about the settlement of Shanty Bay in Oro, she mentioned there were two or three highland children baptized at the same time as their son Henry. The original records are with St. James Cathedral Archives in Toronto, and the Toronto Diocese of the Anglican Church have the records on microfilm. The minister was Rev. Henry H. O'Neil. These are the three she mentions, I believe all Islay folk. John, son of Alexander and Mary Graham, born Feb. 19, 1836, bapt. 15 Aug. 1836 Marianne, daughter of William and marianne Gilchrist, born 21 Nov. 1835, bapt. 15 Aug. 1836 Archibald, son of Archibald and Flora McDougal, born 30 April 1836, bapt. 15 Aug. 1836. The day before, Rev. O'Neil also baptized Angus Cameron, son of Duncolm and Margaret Cameron, born 20 Feb. 1836. This is my family connection, and I'm sure they were from Lower Glenastle.
