    3. Hi Dee ... I am one of those lurkers they mentioned but you McCannel name took my eye ... I rescued this obituary from an old scrap book of my aunt ...... Obituary from Paper Sept 1933 Mrs Emma Laura Taylor McCannell 64 born in Beeton ....died in Toronto Western Hospital married in Kirkville in 1903....Resided in Port McNichol for 32 year member of Presbyterian church since it was founded Husband Capt James McCannell .. commodore CPRGreat Lakes Fleet predeceased her in 1939 Survived by 4 daughters .. Mrs AG calvert Port McNichol Dorothy , Marjorie RN and Dorcus all of Toronto 4 sons ..Pte Reynolds McCannell RCOC overseas.
