I ask because he is the nearest I can find to my 3g grandfather Malcolm McNabb who married Chirsty MacDonald at Duirinish on Skye 1847. I know little about him. He died 1857 in a Glasgow hospital. Death cert does not show parents but gives age as 52 ( an estimate I think). 1841 Freecen census is no help. Maybe I will get lucky when the 1851 census comes out on Scotlandspeople.
