Seeking birth/baptism and parentage info on Janet Smith CARGILL. Here's all I know about her: -Born Islay (no parish known by me) about 1670. -Married Capt. James GREGG before 1695. He was - “...bleacher of linen, who was born at Ayeshire (sic), Scotland, in 1673, immigrated to New Hampshire, settled at Londonderry, married Janet Cargill, and died at Londonderry in 1758...” (from New England Historical and Genealogical Register.) - She died in 1763 or 1764 in New Hampshire.
