The site http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/Arrivals/ships1834.html has a listing of ships, including the Donegal. It states the Donegal arrived in Quebec city Aug. 8, 1834, Captain Hodgson, left June 11 from Maryport with 173 passengers. I think Maryport is in Cumbria, in the northwest of England. Volunteers are transcribing the passenger listings of the Molson ships that took people from Quebec to Montreal for the years 1819-1836. At present they are working on 1826, but it is well worth watching for further years. This section is accessed by clicking Passenger Lists at the top, then work your way down to the St. Lawrence Passenger Records. I hope to one day see the Islay emigrants who came out in 1834 listed.
