Hi Lists: I have added the 1851 Islay census to my webpage. All 6 parishes of Islay are done. Please remember that this is a secondary source as it is my interpretation of the data. I did a lot of standardization of names and spelling, never typed Mac (always Mc). There are 12,524 people represented in the various data pages and I know there will be errors. I can furnish .JPG files (for primary source information) for most pages as I made use of my digital camera for 4 of the 6 parishes. Then you can look at the picture and decide if my interpretation of the data is correct. If you have a question about an individual or family give me full information as I have it recorded so that I can look it up on on originals. Please make individual inquiries off list to me directly.
