Iain and Celia As I look over your names it peeked my interest They are all the same names as our family use ...Just wondering if these McDougalls mean anything to you ......Our Ronald Neven was born in Killarrow parish ..... ; Ronald Neven McDougall 1786 Wife Flora McCallum 1789... 1 Donald 1827 2. James 1830 3 Flora 1830 4. Alex 1831 5. Colon 1832 6. Mary 1833 -----------------Schedule No. Killarrow 14/7/2. ----------------- .1841 Census registers Ronald McDougall aged 50, Agricultural labourer married to Mary McDougall and resident at Bun an Uillt. House Schedule No. Killarrow 14/7/2. ------------------------------------------------- and in 1851 Ronald is still there with some of the chidden and his wife is called Mary I have always been in a state of confusion over this woman's name because she seems to be the same person ... The grandchildren seemed to be confused too because it states Mary on her tombstone but her granddaughter declared she was Flora .. so we now call her Mary Flora ... or do we have 2 different families here ... ?????? I think there is a tenuous relationship but not close. I will revisit this when I return as I am off to look after grandchildren for a week. Celia.
