Hello to All Listers! Does anyone on the list know where GROBAS was/is in Kilarrow Parish? I found the marriage registration for my Third Great-Grandparents and it states that Mary McINTYRE was a servant maid at GROBAS. I checked the Islay Cultural Database but didn't find GROBAS there. The writing is very good and it definitely states GROBAS. The closes name I found was GROBOLLS. Could the enumerator have made a mistake in the pronunciation of the name? Thanks for any help or suggestions. Diana in British Columbia, Canada

The name is likely Grobolls which is due east of Bowmore.
