Monta, I have Duncan McCuaig born abt. 1813 on Islay, died 3 June in Ontario. Isabella McFadyen was born 20 Dec. 1822 in Richmond County, NC and died in Ontario 12 Sept, 1922. They are buried in the Woodville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. An undocumented source has his father and mother as Duncan McCuaig and Janet Campbell with her date of birth abt. 1785. This might be a good lead to check out. The info you posted about the children matches what I have been able to obtain thus far. Rae Fleming's Eldon Connection has a photo of the twins with John McMillan and Hughie McArthur. Isabella was the daughter of Archibald McFadyen and Mary Carmichael who brought their family to North Carolina from Islay in 1818 and then emigrated to Eldon Township in 1829. Archibald was a brother of my great-grandfather and eldest son of Colin McFadyen and Euphemia McMillan of Cattadale. Edward King Seagrove, NC
