Hi Sharon I wonder if you mean Kilcalmonell? It is the only Argyll parish name that is close to "Kilcalmel". Kilcalmonell is on the west coast of the Argyll peninsula along West Loch Tarbert where Kennacraig is situated. BMDs for that parish: b 1777-1854, m 1784-1854 d nill.
