    3. Dear Listers: Thanks to all for the suggestions as to where to look for my MCINTYRES outside of Scotland. Did a little more digging and found my JAMES MCINTYRE b:1830 Kilchoman on the mainland in the District of MILTON, GLASGOW in 1881 and backtracked to his marriage to ISABELLA MCCALL b: abt 1828 GLENORCHY, ARGYLL in 1860. With his marriage cert, I was able to see that MARY MCINTYRE ms MCEWEN, his mother, died between 1856 (on son, DUNCAN "ARCHIBALD"s marriage she is listed as still living) and 1860. Found her death cert of 28 February 1857 in District of MILTON, GLASGOW. Details of the death cert: MARY MCINTYRE, age 60 - Father: JOHN MCEWAN, shepherd, deceased - Mother: FLORA MCEWAN ms DOW - Interment: BURIAL GROUNDS OF PORT CHARLOTTE as certified by JAMES MCINTYRE, UNDERTAKER- Informant: JAMES MCINTYRE, son (not the same person as the undertaker). I suspect she was born abt 1796-1797 in KILCHOMAN PARISH, ISLAY. Is there anyone on the list that is researching MCEWAN/MCEWEN or DOW of KILCHOMAN PARISH that may have a connection to MARY MCINTYRE ms MCEWEN? And is there anyone on the list who has access to the Port Charlotte burial ground recordsor know where I may inquire? Would like to find out if Mary's husband, DONALD MACINTYRE/MCINTYRE b: 1792 KILCHOMAN is buried there also (between 1841 & 1851)? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
