The latest entries I have for Donald Spence show he had a child born on Lossit Farm. On a recent trip to Lindsay I found in the Registry Office that he purchased 200 acres in 1842. He and his family appear in the 1851 Ontario Census. Has anyone discovered a group of people from Islay who travelled to Canada, that is a ship list or have other information that might suit my time period?
