I received a newspaper clipping recently from Scotland that tells of a narrow escape when a BA plane was struck by lightning on a flight between Southhampton and Glasgow. One of the passengers was Lady Amanda Margadale, 48, wife of the third Baron of Islay. The plane put down at Bournemouth, with no injuries. My education re the Aristocracy is sadly lacking.
