Other scenes are filmed in Port Charlotte and Port Askaig. This Web page from The Movie Location Guide to Scotland goes into more detail: http://www.scotlandthemovie.com/movies/fmaggie.html I haven't yet been to Islay, but the place sure looks charming, and it felt like I was there as I watched the movie, which is very good in its own right. --Peter Weverka On the lookout for McDuffies, Browns, and Keiths
