Dear Listers: I have found my McIntyre family, Donald, Mary nee McEwen, Flory, Arch, James and Neil on the 1841 census on Gearach Farm, Kilchoman, Islay. Donald is listed as an ag lab. But just above him is a John McLellan, wife Mary, Alex, Robert, Christian, and Anne. John McLellan's occupation is "H.L.W." Does anyone know what those initials stand for?
