Hi Listers I have been sulking for the past while trying to catch up when I can. Enjoying the list when I have time. Sorry I haven't been participating as much as I would have liked to. Query: I have been following a James McCuaig family. The wife's surname in the birth of all her children has been Cargyle or various spellings of the same. I have followed the family through the 1841 to 1881 censuses where she is now reported as being 80 years old However the only death registration I can find for someone with her married surname, given name and husband's name has the maiden surname McGill. Is this a name change that others are aware of or am I chasing the wrong worman? Monta Salmon
