Hello Catherine: It's wonderful to touch base with you again. Thanks so much for getting in touch with me. I realize now why I couldn't find Janet Ferguson or her husband Peter McLellan's deaths on the Excel List of Islay deaths (the list ends at 1875). Janet Ferguson and Mary Ferguson were sisters to my gr. gr. grandfather Archibald Ferguson. Slowly the information is coming together and I wish I had more time to spend looking for accurate proof of who the other siblings in this family were. Next week I'm back to being immersed in the work world with only a few minutes each day to glance at the Islay list. Thanks again to Steve and Ted and all those who have spent so much of their own time to help distant cousins find each other as without this list I'm sure I would never have met Catherine.
